About Organisational and social work environment in practise

This course provides a practical introduction to the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s new provisions on the organisational and social work environment. It is aimed at those who want to know more about the provisions and what they mean in practice. The course covers the background, who is affected, what the provisions require and what they mean for the organisation. The aim is to gain knowledge on how to practically integrate the requirements of the provisions into daily work environment management.

The provisions on the organisational and social work environment focus on preventive work environment management in the psychosocial area. They clarify and complement systematic work environment management. The organisational work environment includes leadership and management, communication, participation, latitude to act, allocation of tasks, and demands, resources and responsibilities. The social work environment includes social interaction, cooperation and social support from managers and colleagues.
