About Work Environment for Managers – online

Are you a manager? A supervisor with line management responsibility? This online course provides you with the knowledge you need to work practically with the work environment.

The work environment is an important tool for creating well-being and good results. As a manager, you need to be able to apply laws and rules to create the right conditions for a good and safe work environment. Do you know all about the Work Environment Act? Or do you need more knowledge about, for example, the differences between work environment responsibility and liability? As a manager you play an important role in work environment work, and investing in the work environment is often an effective way of achieving the goals you have set. If you have the right knowledge, you can also feel confident that what you are doing is right.

The course is aimed at people like you who want to feel more confident in their role as a leader, by increasing knowledge of your responsibility and making you better at preventing work environment problems. After the course, you will feel ready to successfully lead and plan the work environment work in your own activities.

As the course is digital, you yourself can decide when you want to do it. You have access to the training for 12 months after purchase. We recommend that you use it as a resource to come back to whenever the need arises in your day-to-day activities.  The content is available in both Swedish and English, and you yourself can choose the language when you are doing the course. As well as the course, you will also receive digital versions of the book Work Environment for Managers.

Study methods and scope

It is a digital course that can be done on a computer, tablet or smartphone. The course is the equivalent of Prevent’s trainer-led course, with the same name and the same objectives. The amount of time it takes to do the course will depend on the individual, but set aside at least one day. We therefore recommend you give yourself plenty of time to do it, and it is a good idea to split it over shorter sessions. The course has eight modules that are presented in a recommended order. The modules contain facts, films and exercises. When you have completed all the sections, you will have passed the course and will receive a certificate. At the end of each module, there is an action plan for you to fill in, which is linked to the topic covered by the module. This means that you can start your work environment work while you are doing the course. Everything that you write in the action plan is compiled in a personal report that can be saved and printed in PDF format. You can do more work on the results after you have completed the course.
