Safe on Set is a basic work environment training course for those working in or studying to work in film and TV production. It looks at how to prevent problems and manage risks, and how everyone in a production can cooperate in pursuit of a better work environment.
Course objectives
Among other things, the course will teach you about:
- being part of the work environment and your role
- the specific risks in film and TV production and how to prevent and manage them
- why good induction and procedures are important
- how to be better equipped for day-to-day work through systematic work environment management
- how to work with the organisational and social work environment
- how to work over the long term for a good work environment.
Target group
Everyone working in film and TV production – employees, managers and safety representatives. Also anyone studying to work in the industry.
Scope
The course consists of five chapters and ends with a test. It all takes about 90 minutes to complete. You can take a break or return to an earlier section to repeat anything at any time. Once you have passed the test, you will receive a course certificate that you can download and share.
