Safe Forestry Work is a basic work environment course focusing on risk assessment, the specific risks associated with the forestry industry and how to prevent and manage them. This course is also about how to work together to foster a good work environment and create a safety culture. Works on a mobile phone, computer or tablet
The course is also available in Swedish, Polish and Romanian.
Course objectives
Among other things, the course will teach you about:
- being part of the work environment and your role
- the specific risks in the forestry industry and risk assessment
- the benefits of working to foster a good work environment
- how systematic work environment management can better equip you for day-to-day work
- how to work towards a good work environment in the long term.
Target group
Everyone working in or training to work in the forestry industry – employees, managers and safety representatives.
Scope
The course consists of six chapters and concludes with a test. A seventh chapter is aimed specifically at managers, safety representatives and anyone who wants to learn more. The course takes about 70 minutes to complete. You can take a break or return to an earlier section to repeat anything at any time. Once you have passed the test, you will receive a course certificate which you can download and send to others.
