Terms of sale and delivery

1. General terms

1.1 Order
Training programmes, books, other material, digital material and subscriptions are ordered in the Prevent web shop, by e-mail or by telephone. A web order is placed when you have received an order confirmation from Prevent.

1.2 Prices
The prices in the Prevent web shop are shown excluding VAT. VAT is 6% for all books and 25% for training programmes, web products, CDs and DVDs (as they count as services). Prevent reserves the right to change the prices on the website without prior notice.

1.3 Customer data
To shop from Prevent you need to provide information in all required customer registration fields. If we do not have your e-mail address we can neither send you an order confirmation, nor notify you of known delivery delays or if part of your order cannot be delivered. Each time you place a new order with us you should check that your address details are correct.

Prevent stores your name and address details as well as other contact details in compliance with the Personal Data Act (PUL). Details of your purchases are also stored. The personal data that you share is used for order administration, invoicing, information, marketing and other requirements for good customer relations. Prevent guarantees that your personal data is not used by anyone else for marketing. Our administration of the customer directory complies with the Personal Data Act (PUL) and the Accounting Act.

1.5 Payment
All payments are made against an invoice. Payment is due within 30 days.

Prevent’s invoices are administered by Svea Ekonomi AB, SE-169 81 Solna, Sweden, tel. +46 8 735 29 59. Payments must be made to bank giro number 152-3075 or postal giro number 4154801-7. State the invoice number with your payment.

It is the responsibility of the customer to state the correct invoice information when placing an order. We reserve the right to charge SEK 500 for changing the customer’s invoice information after the invoice has been sent to the customer. If the invoice is due, the customer is charged a reminder fee, interest on overdue payment and a debt collection fee, if needed.

If payment is not received within the stipulated time, a reminder is sent, specifying the reminder fee and interest on overdue payment, by Svea Ekonomi. If payment is delayed further, Svea Inkasso sends a debt collection demand.

An invoice is sent after completion of delivery of books, other material and digital material.

An invoice for open training programmes is sent by Prevent four weeks
before the start of the programme.

An invoice for a subscription is sent approximately six weeks before the start of the subscription period and payment is made in advance. If payment has not been received before the start of the subscription period, the subscription is cancelled.
